Jo has been volunteering with AIDNW (Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest) for several years and will share what she has learned from this experience. AIDNW’s work is at the Detention Center in Tacoma (now called the “NW Processing Center”). She will share about the work AIDNW and some of the other organizations that that advocate for and work with immigrants do and about different statuses that documented and undocumented people hold.
