A researcher and writer, Al Brown is a man with steadfast determination. Recently, he earned a Doctorate despite being homeless for almost a decade. This future New York Times best-selling author just published his first professional journal and co-wrote a separate research article with Dr. Christina Gehrke. There are many pathways out of and into housing. Dr. Brown will describe some of them and share his own experiences of losing housing. This presentation informs our congregation’s effort to support unhoused individuals with our Safe Parking Program.
