The Showing Up For Racial Justice Group is holding an open book discussion on Towards The “Other America” by Chris Crass, an anti-racism, anti-oppression activist and trainer. The book is available as a free download: http://www.chalicepress.com/Towards-the-Other-America-EPDF-P1632.aspx, and there will be copies of a few of the essays for those who would like to attend, but who are not able to read the whole book. We’ll consider some of the tools and concepts that Crass presents in this collection of essays and examine how it might inform our own work in Tacoma.
