Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation is a liberal congregation that values diversity, inclusion, and justice. We are seeking an Office Administrator who will work with staff and congregants to provide support of the ministry and programs of the congregation. The Office Administrator position is part-time, 20 hours per week, who reports to the minister.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide general administrative support for all stakeholders (Minister, Board, Several Committees)
- Supports the Technology and Communication Committee
- Maintain member database in cooperation with the Membership Committee
- Work with the Bookkeeper & Treasurer to maintain Financial records, prepare weekly deposits
- Facility Management
- Coordinate and manage building rentals
- Manage all current contracts
- Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Expected to work in person 2 Sundays out of the month to interact directly with members and guests.
- Will establish standard office hours in consultation with the HR Committee. (Some duties must be done onsite)
- Combination of onsite and work from home schedule as appropriate
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success providing general administrative support to an organization
- Customer service experience
- Experience updating personnel databases and record maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions with minimal oversight
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Pass a criminal background check
- Commitment to confidentiality regarding all account records pertaining to the church staff and membership, including, but not limited to, members’ personal data, Minister and staff correspondence, appointments, salary and payroll records.
