Indivisible Tacoma - Day 12 of 12 Days of Christmas - Candlelight Vigil at NWDC
Northwest Detention Center, Tacoma WA

Indivisible Tacoma and Northwest Detention Center Resistance

—12 Days of Christmas kicks off on December 13

Separated from family and working for only a dollar a day, it won’t be much of a Christmas for the 1,400+ undocumented immigrants detained at Tacoma’s NWDC. Despite its location in the Tide Flats, most Tacoma residents are unaware of

this private prison, as well as the inhumane conditions, overcrowding, and lack of adequate care experienced by

detainees. That’s why this holiday season Indivisible Tacoma is teaming up with NWDC-R for the 12 Days of Christmas to let detainees know they haven’t been forgotten. Reinforce the efforts of NWDC Resistance to support detainees and raise awareness of the human rights crisis in our backyard. 12 Days will culminate in a Christmas Eve candlelight vigil and carols outside the prison. For more information on all 12 Days and to RSVP, visit www.IndivisibleTacoma.org/12days
