On Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Linda will be on Zoom with a cup of tea and available for conversation and checking in. Any and everyone is welcome to come along for casual conversation. She’ll have a question of the day (for example, “Where did you find joy in the last week?”), but any and everyone can check in and chat as they are most comfortable.

Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before the meeting start time, so attendees can be invited into the Zoom room. Once the gathering circle has been created for tea time, the Zoom “door” will be closed, and late attendees will not be able to enter. Your timely login allows us the opportunity to create a space for interested participants, and publicly offer this invitation, as well as alleviate concerns about potential mischievous Zoombombers.

Do you miss the Last Tuesday suppers out together? We do too! Pull up a seat at our virtual table and have dinner with us. Whatever you cook, pick up, or order in is fine. Share a review or the recipe if you want, but it’s really about time together. Let’s catch up without catching anything else, and reconnect on Zoom as we each sup in our own dining areas.

Parent Drop-In

Parenting and caring for children always presents challenges and it is even more complex as we live through these days of the pandemic. Come, take a break, and connect with other parents (or anyone raising/living with a child) from TUUC. Share strategies for coping, provide support to one another, and sometimes, just have a good laugh. This is an informal group with no agenda other than to be here for each other. The room is open from 7:00 until 8:00. Busy lives mean you can’t always be there right at the start and that is okay. Pop in late if that is what works for you.
