TUUC Community Gathering at Wapato Lake Park
Wapato Park, Tacoma WA TUUC Community Gathering at Wapato Lake Park Sunday Social Time at noon at Wapato Park. Join us for conversation and community following worship service on Zoom and Facebook. We’ll continue to meet every Sunday through September, rain or shine — Hey, we’re in the PNW, right? Think of this as the TUUC Bumbershoot experience – bring your ‘brellies and wear your wellies. All ages welcome. The address for Wapato Park is 6500 S. Sheridan Ave. Park at the Central Lot using the entrance at S. Sheridan Ave and S. 68th St. Head towards the children’s play area, and sign in at the small table set up nearby. While no food or drink will be provided, feel free to bring your own. Apple Smash with Infinite CUUPS
Apple Smash! In the spirit of the harvest and community we will also be collecting food donations for a local food bank at this event. Bring donations of canned goods or cash for the local food bank to share your harvest with our food-insecure neighbors. To participate in the Apple Smash, bring an apple or two and wear clothes you’re willing to get applesauce on as well as eye protection — It is gonna get messy! Please wear a face mask and be prepared to follow appropriate social distancing at this outdoor event. Do not come if you have been exposed to COVID or are feeling sick.
