In just 1 month, After a 3-year interruption, the annual TUUC camping trip is set to return! This year it will be held at Gust Backstrom City Park in Morton, Washington. (Click the blue text for more information) There is a large open field for badminton and baseball. Also, there are horseshoe pits, easy access to the Tilton River, and a playground. Fishing is allowed and can be productive for trout. There is ample space for bicycles. Of course, you can just hanging out at the campsite reading, playing cards/board games, or socializing. As of this writing, campfires are allowed, and an abundant supply of wood will be provided for the evening fires. Some of the hosts will be arriving Friday morning. We have reserved two large sites with a max occupancy of 15 tents and/or RVs, so there is plenty of room for anyone that would like to join us. Cost is $15 per night for tents and $30 per night for RVs (RV sites include 1 tent). We will “officially” potluck dinner on Saturday evening and Sunday breakfast but just as often we all kind of work together with others for the rest of the meals. One of the hosts has three cooking stations so no need to buy a stove if you don’t already have one. There will be many snacks!
