Goodies from Worship on April 26 — Singing for Our Lives

Our service was music filled!  Emma’s Revolution offered us their beautiful songs, and Sandy and Pat told stories about each that make the day even more special.  Click on the link above to listen to more of what they have to offer, to purchase their music for your ongoing delight, and see what other online resources they have.  They have ongoing live opportunities to sing and learn with them.

Our meditation words were “Cutting Loose” by William Stafford and you can find them here.

If you want to revisit the whole service, find the recording here.

Music and poetry are part of my way of staying grounded and remembering to pay attention to what is most important.  So much is in flux right now as we try to live with radically changed circumstances, finding those practices and perspectives that help us be intentional about how we move through our days is critical.  Singing lines that offer you comfort or a view of what’s possible is one such practice.  Printing out a poem that lifts your heart helps, too.

What helps you to be grounded?  What are your practices and perspectives?  Send me an email at minister@tahomauu.com and let me know!

I’m grateful for all of you and send you love!
