Sacred Fatherhood: A Pagan Perspective

Come Celebrate Fatherhood

Father’s Day is a time to celebrate and reflect on the sacred role of fatherhood. We sometimes have a history in America of associating fatherhood with certain characteristics of toxic masculinity like aggression and dominance. Such alpha male thinking often leads to mental health issues, broken relationships, societal violence, and gender inequality. It’s a stereotype that wants freedom without responsibility, authority without consequences, and power without empathy.

But is there another perspective? Is there another way of being a father?  A role that is not defined by the narrow confines of toxic masculinity but by the rich tapestry of divine balance and harmony?
