Hearts Out For UUs!

What: Gather with family and friends for a FUNdraising Event

When: Saturday, February 8, 2020, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Where: Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation

Who: Everyone from TUUC and Vashon Island Unitarian Fellowship

For: Fun, Fellowship, Taco Bar, Drinks, Raffle, Silent Auction, Games, Dessert Dash, and a Surprise or two! After dinner, activities and ice cream bar for youngsters in the Social Hall.

How you can help:

  • Think about what TUUC and VIUF mean to you and how you want to show support!
  • Buy tickets and join in the fun ($15 per person 13 and older; 12 and under free)
  • Sell 50-50 Raffle tickets ($5 each) to family, friends, and co-workers! (Talk with Cat Bilnoski)
  • Buy $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win a gift card from a local business.
  • Ask a business you use regularly to donate a gift card or item for the raffle or auction: coffee cards, beer tasting in the far off land of Gig Harbor (Talk with Cat Bilnoski).
  • Donate an experience for the Silent Auction: brunch for 8, tea for 10, weekend at your vacation home, dance music by a live band, sunset sail and a picnic, hosted birthday party for kids (anyone have a pony?) . . . let your imagination run wild! (Talk with Holly Coryell or Penny Douglas)
  • Bake a dessert for the Dessert Dash (Talk with Merle Stryker)
  • Wrangle finances for event: payments and receipts
  • Help transform the Sanctuary for our event (Talk with Jonina Wright)
  • Help set up (Talk with Holly Coryell)
  • Help clean up (Talk with Cindy Hackett)
  • Help during the event: sound, raffle sales, raffle and silent auction item delivery, staff the drink table, total individual giving amounts.

Everyone has an opportunity to enjoy, give, meet new friends and reconnect with those you haven’t seen in a while. Join in!
