Antiracism Discussion Ibram X. Kendi has created The Antiracist Deck – 100 conversation starters on power, equity and justice. We’ll use these cards to have an antiracist conversation after Sunday service on August 7. About Ibram X. Kendi and The Antiracist Deck When did you first become aware of racism? When did you first become aware of your race? Where does racism exist? What does “resistance” mean to you? Why is talking about race important? Why now? Kendi gave the Ware Lecture at this year’s General Assembly. He is the author of many books including How to Be an Antiracist. Kendi’s Ted Talk: The Difference between “not racist” and antiracist Those attending will follow our in-person gathering guidelines including wearing high-quality face masks.
