The success of the first two “First Friday Film Forums”, well-attended on April 6 and June 1, has led to planning for programs resuming in the Fall. Possibilities include expanding to regular monthly get-togethers, probably still on First Friday evenings, and adding other adult spirituality explorations such as book discussions, speakers, etc. Collaborative guided conversations presumably will continue to be a feature.
To aid their efforts, the planners are asking for more input. If you attended “The Mindfulness Movie” or the “With One Voice” film, please share your evaluations. Even if you haven’t attended, please share your suggestions for what you’d like to see in such monthly evening programs. Email Susie Maharry, Director of Adult Religious Exploration, at dir.are@tahomauu.com. Also, everyone is invited to a planning meeting on this Last Friday, June 29, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Don’t be surprised if future announcements refer to our new “SpiritUUality Cafe”!
