Experience and enhance your understanding of complementary therapies specially tailored to provide comfort to meet the needs of people and families who are facing life-limiting illness. Comfort therapies, such as therapeutic music, massage therapy, art therapy, and aromatherapy help to decrease pain, reduce anxiety, increase relaxation, and increase quality of life for people facing the end stages of their life due to illness, as well as for their family members and friends. Including comfort therapies into your self-care and spiritual practice can have wonderful holistic benefits.
