Calling all UU “Homeschoolers” to an organizing meeting to form a “homeschooling” group on Sunday, March 4th after service at 12:00 noon. We are looking to create intentional community among home-based learning families while deepening our experience of our Unitarian Universalist faith. All “homeschooling” approaches and children of all ages are welcome. The primary focus of activity will be during day-time on week days. At the meeting we will discuss the “what” – park days, co-learning, social justice activities, community service, etc. – and “when.” Let’s share the challenges and joys of our home learning journeys. Child care will be available. Meet downstairs in the middle school room (second hallway). Please contact Christine Chansley with any questions or if you are interested in the group but will not be able to attend this first meeting.
