Facilitator: Nancy Meyer
The movie, “The Man Who Planted Trees,” is a 30-minute Academy Award winning animated film about a man who changed a vast wasteland into a paradise by spending his life planting trees. The film is beautiful and awe inspiring, as it gives hope that humans can not only save the environment, but make needed changes to bring back life where it has been destroyed by careless exploitation. If you have seen this movie, you will want to see it again. If you have not seen this movie, then it is a must-see. Nancy Meyer will lead a discussion after watching the film.
