The Social Justice Committee of TUUC invites you to join the Race Matters Discussion Group: Thinking Critically About Racism + Whiteness. Whoever you are and wherever you are on your anti-racist journey, you are invited to participate in a four-session discussion group to deepen our understanding of anti-racism in action through guided readings, podcasts, and videos.

Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis and attendees are required to pre-read materials sent, estimated to take about 2-3 hours for each session.

The preparation for November 18 meeting includes articles, TED Talks, and a webinar. All of the materials should be reviewed at least once before attending. There is also a written practice to do over a few days – up to a week –  that we request you work on ahead of time to make the most of our time together.
