Come celebrate the birth of the Sun God with Tacoma Pagans on this darkest night of the year. We will sing Pagan carols to celebrate the birth of the Sun, learn from ancient stories, and perform fire magic together. This public sabbat is one of eight seasonal festivals observed by many modern Pagans, and that are celebrated on the solstices, equinoxes, and the cross quarter days between the solstices and equinoxes.
Please arrive on time to be part of the circle. All guests are asked to please bring a dish for the after-feast in the Social Hall. Guests are invited to bring a wrapped white elephant gift that will be exchanged and opened after the ceremony.
Please contact Susie Maharry, Director of Adult Religious Exploration, at dir.are@tahomauu.com for more information.
