“Wrapping Our Brains Around Climate Change”
Friday, February 1, 2019, 6:45—8:30 p.m.
Presented by Tom Bookout and Jim Tuttle

Updates! In addition to “3 kinds of bias that shape your worldview,” the TED talk by J. Marshall Shepherd, our event now includes the second TED Talk, “The most important thing you can do to fight climate change: talk about it,” by atmospheric scientist and evangelical Christian, Katharine Hayhoe.

Plus we’ve added the short documentary “Fire & Ice on the Mountain” about Peruvians dealing with the changes in their spiritual relationship with a shrinking glacier they depend on — this short film was produced under a grant managed by Evan Berry, an American University professor who also happens to be the son of our TUUC member, Mary Berry.

Come and join the Café conversations!

Please contact Susie Maharry, Director of Adult Religious Exploration, at Dir.ARE@TahomaUU.com with any questions.
