Meet with facilitator, Doug Taylor, to touch base, and share thoughts about what we might want to explore this coming new church year.

There will be a second series of podcasts regarding bias hosted by the Center for Action and Contemplation which we may want to continue exploring and/or perhaps someone has come across a good book related to spirituality, mysticism, brain science, and/or well-being that we could consider for using as a resource text.

We might also explore the best day and times for the group to meet for the majority of people interested in meeting via zoom given the current COVID data.

Since we were last exploring biases with the “Learning How to See” podcasts, here’s an article which may be of interest concerning “proximity bias” from the BBC. It sounds so parallel to the the neuroscience adage of “neurons that fire together, wire together,”  maybe “people who work together in proximity, wire together” as well, which might be going on in “group think?”
