We are almost to the third anniversary of the COVID shutdown. It’s been a long journey through these years. The months and months of home isolation, the miracle – and misery – of Zoom, that brought us together and kept us apart, and the connections that tied us together got loose at the joints. We started meeting in person again in late March of last year, and we’re still slowly coming back together and finding what’s next.
Susan Kunkel and the Membership Committee have created opportunities to get together in member’s homes for Coffee, Tea, and Conversation, and I want to encourage you to find a date to go to one of the events. There will be a Zoom option for meeting up too. Dates and times are at the bottom of this note. This is purely a social time, to enjoy some tasty refreshments and catch up with friends new and seasoned. Sign up and come along. I’ll be at the events, as will a member of the Board of Trustees. All we need is YOU.
Here are the dates:
Saturday, February 25th from 10:30am-12:30pm (West Tacoma)
Sunday, February 26th from 12:30pm-2:30pm (South Tacoma)
Saturday, March 4th from 2:00pm-4:00pm (North Tacoma)
Sunday, March 5th from 2:00pm-4:00pm (on Zoom–must RSVP for this one)
Cards with host names and addresses are available at the Welcome Table in the lobby, or you can contact Susan at email@example.com to get addresses for the in-person events. Register for the Zoom event here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0oc-usrD8vHdHslP0Z4PYLIqdYx-eiN8NW
I look forward to seeing you there!
