Dear friends,
The Omicron Surge is relenting, but not yet gone. I am looking forward to getting back to multi-platform worship as the risk level determined by CovidActNow.org moves from Extreme Risk (what was called Severe Risk in our policies) to High Risk, the level at which we can begin our multiplatform worship again. Keep an eye out for the ENews! We will give you at least a week’s notice before we come back in person.
When we do open the building for in-person — and online — worship, those who wish to come will need to reserve a space, wear a high-quality mask, and maintain distance inside the building. To facilitate air exchange, windows in the sanctuary will be cracked open, so warm clothing is encouraged to complement having the heat on. I trust it will be as giddy and glorious as it was in December when we came together.
I am grateful for all of you who have been hanging in there as we navigate our way through these pandemic times. It was March 8, 2020 when we held a multi-platform service, and March 15 when we stopped in-person services and began to figure out how to do this. It’s been a long slog through, but there’s some possibility and promise of discovering what’s next on the horizon.
With love,
Linda
