Rev. Dr. Emily Brault shares about how her experiences as a prison chaplain have influenced her ideas about what Standing on the Side of Love is really all about.

Rev. Dr. Emily Brault earned her PhD from Vanderbilt University and has been in prison ever since. She currently works at the women’s prison in Oregon, and has a few more years before she paroles. Her experiences as a Chaplain, Academic, and Human Being have all informed her ideas about what love, justice, and faith are really all about.

Challenging Ourselves

Continuing the process of building our awareness of issues around racial justice, this Sunday begins a month during which you are invited to take a Black Lives Matter button and wear it for a month. Our service will provide the context for taking on this challenge and considers what might be revealed to us in the process.
