Solstice, Raven, and the Strength of Diversity
As we gather near the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, we celebrate the gifts of light, community, and connection. Through a traditional Coastal Salish Raven story shared by storyteller Kenneth Apple, we will explore wisdom rooted in this land and its people. Together, we will reflect on Juneteenth, the ongoing struggle for justice and liberation, and the ways diversity strengthens our communities. In a time of division and uncertainty, this service invites us to embrace our interconnectedness, honor those who have resisted oppression, and recommit ourselves to caring for one another, the Earth, and future generations.
