Speaker: Mathew Taylor

Mathew P. Taylor was born and raised in San Bernardino, California. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. Mathew has over 15 years experience working in his local community, organizing and serving, in Pagan Ministry leadership. He is a student at Starr King School for the Ministry and will be seeking ordination in the Unitarian Universalist Faith Tradition.

Mathew is one of the incoming Intern Ministers at The Unitarian Universalist Church of Rockville in Maryland and the current Technical/Communications Coordinator for Throop Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasadena. In his spare time, Mathew has taken on various volunteer positions. He is the current Vice President of the Starr King School for the Ministry Student Body. He is Vice President of Diverse & Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries (DRUUMM).  Mathew is a Founding Member of Covenant UU an emerging virtual covenanting community in Southern California. Most recently he was the Chair of the Nominating Committee of the UUA Pacific Southwest District 2017-2020 (PSWD). 

Mathew’s current work is engaging the reimagining of the 7 principles and he believes that his brand of Mystical Ministry is meant to help give a voice to the voiceless and to help find a home for the spiritually homeless.
