Courage from Community

Given the uncertainty about what’s coming in the next month and the next couple years, how do we find our courage to stand brave against the unknowns? How can we work to calm our anxiety and doubt about the unknown that the future holds? Let’s explore how courage can be born from community and how … Continue reading Courage from Community

Who We Are

Who We Are

We are Unitarian Universalists. We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.

About Us

Worship

Worship

All are welcome in our congregation. Services are Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in our church sanctuary at 1115 South 56th Street in Tacoma WA. Our worship services are about an hour in length, and followed by coffee and conversation.

We gather together in spiritual community because we need constant reminders of what matters most in life. In a world filled with beauty and joy along with suffering and loss, our congregations and communities call us to our better selves. We seek to learn to live with more wisdom, more connection, and more compassion.

Kids' Chapel on Zoom
27 Jun
06/27/2021
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join Nancy Slocum, Director of Religious Exploration for Children and Youth for a “Kids' Chapel” via Zoom on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. This program is geared for elementary school-aged children and will provide a little time to connect and share with each other. We will still have a Time for All Ages during our online worship service which starts at 10:30 a.m., and encourage children to participate in the worship service through that point. If you are a parent of a child or children in our Religious Exploration program and have not received the login information, please email Nancy at dir.re@tahomauu.com and she will send you the info.
