Erien Babcock, Ministerial Intern, leads us in an exploration of our mental and emotional work as it aligns with the rolling into the end of the Earth-Centered religious year. Relax and do some work with your emotional and mental preparation in cycle with the earth, and explore a bit about Samhain and our relationships with our Ancestors.

Erik Halseth is a seminarian studying remotely in the MDiv program at Starr King School for the Ministry and living in Southern California. Busy with raising his young son, he occasionally gets a moment to jot down a poem here or there. While studying long ago in the Writing and Literature program at UC Santa Barbara’s College of Creative Studies, he swore he’d never be a poet.
For the last few years, we’ve blessed backpacks (or briefcases, or work bags) at the start of the fall. This year with a variety of ways of going to school and going to work, we’re blessing more than that. Join with Director of Religious Exploration for Children and Youth, Nancy Slocum, and Rev.
