Worship service leaders meet to prepare for Sunday worship service.

Join Nancy Slocum, Director of Religious Exploration for Children and Youth for a “Kids' Chapel” via Zoom on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. This program is geared for elementary school-aged children and will provide a little time to connect and share with each other. We will still have a Time for All Ages during our online worship service which starts at 10:30 a.m., and encourage children to participate in the worship service through that point. Linda will be on Zoom with a cup of tea and available for conversation and checking in. Any and everyone is welcome to come along for casual conversation. She'll have a question of the day (for example, "Where did you find joy in the last week?"), but any and everyone can check in and chat as they are most comfortable. Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before the meeting start time, so attendees can be invited into the Zoom room. Once the gathering circle has been created for tea time, the Zoom “door” will be closed, and late attendees will not be able to enter. Your timely login allows us the opportunity to create a space for interested participants, and publicly offer this invitation, as well as alleviate concerns about potential mischievous Zoombombers.

The Social Justice Committee meets monthly on the first Wednesday evening of the month. To join the meeting on Zoom, email SJCTahoma.UU@gmail.com and request the meeting information.

The Board of Trustees meets on the third Thursdays to do the work of the congregation. Meetings are open to members of the congregation. Occasionally some agenda items of the Board of Trustees meetings are addressed in executive session, and open only to board members.
