We are members and friends of Unitarian Universalism walking the path of spiritual experience and growth as it unfolds in our lives. We come to this safe, caring, authentic, compassionate group for inspiration, to study, and to explore our direct experience of the fullness and mystery of life.
The group is facilitated by Doug Taylor.
The UUA created a beautiful worship service as a part of Side with Love’s program as it led up to Valentine’s Day. We’re sharing it this week as our service. It is a compelling, diverse worship, with a variety of voices, stirring music, and an … read more.
Join Nancy Slocum, Director of Religious Exploration for Children and Youth for a “Kids’ Chapel” via Zoom on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. This program is geared for elementary school-aged children and will provide a little time to connect and share with each other. We still have a Time for All Ages during our online worship service which starts at 10:30 a.m., and encourage children to participate in the worship service through that point.
If you are a parent of a child or children in our Religious Exploration program and have not received the login information, please email Nancy at dir.re@tahomauu.com and she will send you the info.
Soul Matters Drop In Chalice Circle on Second Sunday
12:00 p.m.
Online on Zoom
Join a Chalice Circle that is open to anyone who would like to attend. The group will begin with any thoughts/reflections/comments about the morning service as a way to get centered, and then focus on the month’s Chalice Circle theme and sharing. Doug Taylor facilitates this monthly open Chalice Circle.
On Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Linda will be on Zoom with a cup of tea and available for conversation and checking in. Any and everyone is welcome to come along for casual conversation. She’ll have a question of the day (for example, “Where did you find joy in the last week?”), but any and everyone can check in and chat as they are most comfortable.
Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before the meeting start time, so attendees can be invited into the Zoom room. Once the gathering circle has been created for tea time, the Zoom “door” will be closed, and late attendees will not be able to enter. Your timely login allows us the opportunity to create a space for interested participants, and publicly offer this invitation, as well as alleviate concerns about potential mischievous Zoombombers.
