Paying Attention: What is in Your Cup?
In a wisdom tale, Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hanh tells us the bump in the road doesn’t create what spills out of the cup we are carrying. Instead it reveals what is already inside. The question is not about who bumps us rather, “What am I carrying in my cup?”

Join us for 30 minutes of sitting or walking meditation in the sanctuary. Each week we have a topic for discussion related to meditating as a way to expand our knowledge and connect with one another. This group is for everyone, whether you meditate frequently, occasionally, or are coming for your first meditation sit. The group is also open to any ideas or topics anyone may wish to share. Alexa and Steve Arnold facilitate the group.

Last Tuesday Dinner Group at Fish Brewing Pub & Eatery
5108 Grand Loop, Ruston, WA 98407
Join us at the Fish Brewing Pub & Eatery for the Last Tuesday Dinner Group on May 29th. The “Pub” is Point Ruston’s newest restaurant, sitting at the far west end of the complex. With warm weather, we may commandeer the outdoor balcony that looks out upon Commencement Bay. Otherwise, the restaurant has a warm indoor vibe. This is our 11th monthly gathering, and each has been a relaxing and enjoyable way to meet fellow members of the congregation. We have had as many as 24 attendees, preferring to sit at neighboring tables of 6 (perhaps tables of 8 or 4), thus encouraging easy conversation and variety at this monthly dinner. You are invited to join us and arrive around 5:30 p.m. Everyone simply orders off the menu and receives separate checks. The dinner menu can be viewed at: https://www.fishbrewing.com/fish-brewing-pub-eatery
Come, relax, eat, and join in the conversations. Your coordinators are Margot Marsh, and Pat and Neil Glenesk.

Join us for our Last Tuesday Dinner Group at a different area restaurant each month on the last Tuesday evening. These meals are casual, come-as-you-please gatherings. It's a wonderful way to get to know fellow members of the congregation, and you may individually order from the restaurant's menu. The restaurant will be announced as we approach the last Tuesday. Come, relax, eat, and join in the conversations.

First Friday Film Forum - Conscious Cinema and Conversations for Heart and Soul
"With One Voice: Awaken to the Reality That Unites Us All"
With One Voice brings together mystics from fourteen different spiritual traditions to share their perspectives on the unifying truth that transcends all religions. In this seventy-eight minute documentary, these awakened teachers address profound questions about life and love, the existence of God, the path to spiritual awakening and the way to true peace in the world. Through their words and compelling presence, they ask us to look within our own hearts and listen deeply, so we too can join the conversation and speak With One Voice.
Hosted and sponsored by Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation to encourage interfaith interspiritual connections, harmony, health, and wellbeing.

Come together with curious intellects and attentive hearts to connect, meditate, explore, and discuss the journey of awakening, followed by a time for tea and snacks.
NonDual, Mystical, and Unitive Conscious experiences are all rooted in direct, personal, embodied knowing beyond words, beliefs, doctrines, and rigid traditions whether spontaneous or invoked. In this safe, co-created inter-spiritual group we will explore, experience direct practice, and share our “seeing, knowing and being” of essential essence common to all humanity that transcends divisive concepts and dualisms.
All members are welcome and encouraged to provide ideas and suggestions to enhance each and every participant’s group experience and well-being.

Our last-minute change of venue is due to a flooded kitchen in the previously announced venue. Join us at 6:00 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m., as originally scheduled. Apologies for any inconvenience, but we look forward to seeing you at Europa Bistro!
